Come try some great holiday wines!
Les Costes Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc – Expressive, elegant nose with fruit and floral aromas. Fresh and complex, this is an ideal wine to pair with vegetables, fish, poultry, and cream sauces. An easy drinking, food loving wine perfect for every day.
Kiona Columbia Valley Estates Cuvée – Add together a mouthful of rich dark cherry fruit, spice, and toasty oak and you get an approachable, balanced, textured, wine that will highlight a wide variety of foods. A wonderful comfort wine for winter weather. 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 21% Syrah, and 4% Mourvèdre.
Longvale Lodi Zinfandel – Aromas of caramel, baked cherry pie, and savory spices, with a slight smokiness. Intense dark berry flavors followed by clove and dark chocolate with a touch of oaky vanilla. Full-bodied but finely balanced with a lasting impression of licorice, fig and subtle black pepper. 87 points, Best Buy, Wine Enthusiast
Kauzo Malbec+Malbec – Intense aromas of fresh berries. Lovely fruit flavors with gentle, round tannins that are typical of this vineyard. Long, elegant, and persistent finish. A blend of Malbecs from vineyards with differing soil types— La Consulta with sandy soil with some clay and silt content and Vista Flores, a highland plain with alluvial loam, subsoil gravel, and calcareous sediments.
Eagle Harbor Founders Merlot – An experience in taste. Dark blueberry, Bing cherry, elderberry and black licorice aromas turn into lush and penetrating flavors of chocolate-covered blueberry and vanilla extract. The wine shows exuberant youthfulness, but there’s plenty of acidity and tannin structure to allow this to improve. Double Gold Medal, 2015 Seattle Wine Awards
