The addition of cranberries gives a tasty holiday twist to this classic festive beverage! Make it in the morning and it will be ready in time for dinner. The extra 1/2 bottle of sparkling wine will make great Christmas morning Mimosas.
1 apple, diced
1 orange, thinly sliced
1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
1/2 lime, thinly sliced
1 cup cranberries
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup triple sec
1/4 cup brandy
1 bottle of Punctum Sin Sulfidos
1/2 bottle of Lobetia Sparkling Brut
Combine everything except the sparkling wine in a pitcher and refrigerate for several hours. The sparkling wine can be added either in the pitcher immediately before serving or into each glass as the sangria is served.
You’ll probably want a spoon for eating the delicious marinated fruit.
