This blend of Cabernet Franc (46%), Merlot (28%), Cabernet Sauvignon (17%) and Petit Verdot (9%) starts out brooding, with black cherry, herb, black currant, anise, and spice notes, but just give it a chance to open up. The palate is rich and structured, loaded with dark fruit flavors and firm tannins. This is classical Red Mountain fruit in an elegantly serious package.
