Saturated medium ruby-red. Lovely complex perfume of raspberry, cherry, graphite, flowers, licorice, tobacco leaf and herbs. Penetrating and juicy but dense as well, with sharply delineated, weightless flavors of red and blue fruits and tobacco leaf accented by violet and minerals. The terrific rising finish features serious firm-edged tannins and a notable light touch. Considerable aging potential. 56% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Franc.
